Hi there back from TT
Had a great time weather brilliant for second week,
and had three race days in a row.
Lots of organized event, around Douglas but very hard to actually
see anything. All though I have to say The mechanical bucking bronco
was a bit poor. Bushies beer tent as good as ever with plenty of live bands,
but there seemed to be a lack of rock bands this year, I always thought the two went together.
I have to say the Granstand area just gets poorer and poorer every year, I remember when the Suzuki
stand was around that area with beer tent , live band, silly macho games, rolling road, classic bikes Oh and don't forget
the mini kind of kick start obstacle course with the mini bikes. There were fair ground rides at the side of grandstand, as well
as a multitude of different shops that bikers just love to look at.
Unfortunately this year at the grandstand , there was only a beer tent and TT merchandise shops.
It also seems to me that the organizers are slowly but surely trying to take all the fun out of the TT getting everything so strictly
organized, that it's taking all the fun and wildness away, don't even think of doing a burnout on Douglas front now, are PC plod
will have you.
It just seems this year was not so much about 100 years of TT but how much money can we make out these bikers.
After all is said and done I still enjoyed myself and the racing was brilliant, but it's not just what it used to be.
5/10 rating sorry but that all.
